The event was attended by Sayyed Saud bin Hilal bin Hamad Al Busaidi, minister of state and governor of Muscat, Mohammed Abdul Rahim Al Fahim, CEO of Paris Gallery Group of Companies, and Salim bin Abdullah Al Rawas, chairman of Oman Luxury.
The UAE-based retailer has forayed into Oman to serve the needs of the luxury market. The launch of the new outlet reinforces the retailer's strategic expansion plans in the region. The store is spread over 1,200 square metres and houses a vast array of international luxury brands in watches, perfumes, cosmetics, eyewear, accessories and leather goods.
"With Paris Gallery's solid reputation and expertise in luxury retail and customer service, we will deliver a state-of-the-art retail experience in Oman. We look forward to accelerated growth through our on-going focus on luxury and service," said Al Rawas.
Al Fahim said: "We are happy and proud to announce the opening of our first store in Oman in response to the high demand for luxury retail concepts and superior service in the country. Oman is a strategic market for Paris Gallery and the new store in partnership with Oman Luxury is part of our vision to expand our presence in the region. We look forward to a long and fruitful relationship with our stakeholders and the consumers of this country."
