LPG cylinder to cost Dh40, up from Dh27

Abu Dhabi - Adnoc Distribution currently provides more than 3,000 subsidised 25lb gas cylinders daily at its service stations in Sharjah, Ajman, Umm Al Quwain, Ras Al Khaimah and Fujairah.

Adnoc Distribution has announced an increase in price for LPG cylinders of 25lbs capacity at its service stations in the Northern Emirates including Sharjah, Ajman, Umm Al Quwain, Ras Al Khaimah and Fujairah.
Effective September 10, the new selling price is Dh40 per 25lb cylinder up from the earlier marked retail price of Dh27.
Khalid Hadi, vice-president of marketing and corporate communications, Adnoc Distribution, said: "The new prices reflect the global surge in pricing of this product. We are closely monitoring the world markets as well as following up with all relevant stakeholders in the UAE to guarantee fair implementation of the new pricing. Adnoc Distribution wishes to reiterate our continued commitment to our loyal customers in the Northern Emirates, and ensure them of our priority to provide best-in-class products and services at the most fair prices."
Adnoc Distribution currently provides more than 3,000 subsidised 25lb gas cylinders daily at its service stations in Sharjah, Ajman, Umm Al Quwain, Ras Al Khaimah and Fujairah.
Holders of Rahal e-Gas cards in the Northern Emirates are entitled to purchase the subsidised gas cylinders. Rahal e-Gas is issued free of cost by Adnoc Distribution at its offices in Sharjah, Ras Al Khaimah and Fujairah or at select Adnoc service stations across the UAE.
