GCC body reviews progress on projects
DOHA — The GCC financial and economic cooperation committee wrapped up its meetings here yesterday. The UAE's delegation to the meetings was led by Dr Mohammed Khalfan bin Kharbash, Minister of State for Financial and Industrial Affairs.
The committee members discussed financial and economic topics on the GCC summit agenda, including areport on Customs Union, GCC Common Market and allowing GCC citizens to carry out more economic activities and the timeline for currency union. The meeting also reviewed progress of the power water grid and intra-GCC railway.
