In response to a change in billing policy by telecom operators in Pacific Island countries - Nauru, Papua New Guinea, West Samoa, Tonga, Vanuatu, as well as Gambia and Mexico, etisalat will charge new Wasel SIM users, who are currently on a per second billing pulse, to minimum 60 second pulse increment (per minute) for calls made to these countries.

The change will be effective starting June 23, 2016. There will be no other changes for calls to other destinations.
