Dubai Sets Trade Band on 20 Stocks at 15pc

DUBAI - Dubai’s stock exchange said on Tuesday it had set the daily trading band on 20 stocks at 15 per cent.

The 20 stocks, which were the most actively traded in the last six months of 2008, will be allowed to rise or fall as much as 15 per cent in a single day, the Dubai bourse said in a statement. All other listed companies will be allowed to move no more than 5 per cent, it said.

The stocks with a 15-percent trading band are as follow: Dubai Islamic Insurance & Reinsurance; Gulf Navigation Holding; Aramex; Shuaa Capital; National Central Cooling Co.; Islamic Arab Insurance Co; Arabtec Holding; Tamweel; Amlak Finance; Dubai Investments Co; Union Properties; Deyaar; Dubai Islamic Bank;Dubai Financial Market Co; Emaar Properties; Takaful House;Takaful Emarat; Air Arabia; Ajman Bank and Gulf General Investment Co.
