Delta Capital closes Mena Telecom Fund
DUBAI — Delta Capital has announced the initial closing on February 28, 2007of its MENA Telecom Fund.
Due to strong demand from investors from across the region, Delta Capital has been able to reach its target commitment of $75 million earlier than expected. The fund closing, initially targeted for March 31, 2007, was moved up to start executing on a very strong pipeline of investment opportunities. In addition, it was decided to increase the size of the MENA Telecom Fund to a maximum of $100 million in order to accommodate this increased investor demand, with a second and final closing to be held on March 31, 2007. As part of the commitment, the partners and employees of Delta Capital and Delta Partners are investing $7.5 million in the fund.
