Real estate consultancy Cluttons will expand its international operations into North Africa, Sub-Saharan Africa and India, with a new office opening in Nigeria, to capture increased cross-border investment into major growth markets.
The firm has 50 international offices and has been operating in the UAE, Oman and Bahrain. It has seen an uplift in requirements for corporate advisory work from both Middle East and international companies expanding into African and Indian cities.
New retail opportunities in Africa are generating demand from mall operators and international retailers undertaking assessments of suitable mall and store design formats, while corporates are stepping up due diligence in locations such as Cairo, in anticipation of North African markets opening up.
The expansion of Cluttons' operations will also support NRI clients based in the Middle East targeting cross-border investments in Bengaluru, Mumbai and London.
