Veteran Indian film actor Om Puri passed away earlier today at the age of 66 according to reports made by the Indian Express and Times of India.
The legendary actor, who is known for his roles in films such Ardh Satya, Bhavni Bhavai, Mirch Masala and Dharavi died after a heart attack.
His sudden death was confirmed by his close friend and Indian filmmaker Ashoke Pandit as he took to Twitter to express his condolences.
Sad & shocked to know that versatile actor Om Puri jee has expired due to heart attack early morning today. #RIP.
