The last Emirates Airbus A380 aircraft, world’s largest plane, has left the European aircraft manufacturer’s Toulouse facility for Hamburg to receive painting, interiors and final testing.
Soon it will join Emirates fleet at Dubai International Airport.
“The iconic double-decker has been a customer favourite, captivating the imagination of travellers worldwide by providing an unmatched travel experience. We are committed to the A380 programme and the aircraft will be part of our fleet for years to come,” the Dubai-based airline said in statement on its social media.
Emirates fleet of A380 have unique features such as private suites and shower spas in first class to flat-bed seats in business class to extra room and custom lighting in Economy Class, and inflight Wi-Fi throughout the A380.
According to Emirates website, its fleet consists of 115 A380s, carrying 105 million passengers since 2008 from 50 destinations.
