Gulf Air expands loyalty programme with BKIC insurance

The Kingdom of Bahrain’s national carrier, Gulf Air, announced a partnership with Bahrain Kuwait Insurance Company, or BKIC, giving the insurance provider’s customers the opportunity to earn Gulf Air Falconflyer miles when purchasing any of BKIC’s Home, Annual Travel and Motor Gold+ & Platinum+ insurance policies; further enhancing the airline’s portfolio of corporate accounts.

During the signing ceremony held at Gulf Air’s head office in Muharraq, the national carrier’s acting chief executive officer Maher Salman Al Musallam said: “We are pleased to launch our first insurance-provider partnership today, broadening Gulf Air’s Falconflyer partner base and allowing our valued loyalty members to earn free miles from a wider array of services. Our partnership with Bahrain Kuwait Insurance, the leading and innovative insurer, reinforces our commitment to tailoring the best product and service offering to our passengers.”

Bahrain Kuwait Insurance Company’s chief executive officer Ebrahim Al Rayes said: “We are delighted to partner with Gulf Air, a globally-recognized brand that holds enduring significance not only for Bahrain, but for the region as a whole. Offering our customers value-added benefits is one of our objectives and having Gulf Air support us in this endeavor enhances the experience of our individual customers by giving them greater access to the services offered by the Falconflyer program, through granting them additional miles.”
