A woman in Kuwait allegedly swindled out of huge sums of money from eight men by tricking them into getting involved with her romantically.
The romance scammer is said to have targeted wealthy men whom she befriended and then blackmailed for money. The woman, who is still roaming scot-free, would ask her victims for money after fooling them into a fake relationship.
Not doubting the woman, the victims would often give in to her demand until she would ask for a substantial amount. However, if the victim refused to give any money, the fraud woman then accused them of raping her and threatening to expose them by approaching the police.
Fearing a scandal, the victims try to settle the matter, however, this time they are let off after paying double the amount, according to a GDNonline report.
She would also threaten to submit 'evidence' to police to prove her claims.
A security source said the woman will be arrested soon and that she is free as there is no legal proof of her criminal actions.
