Fresh from his victory over Dustin Poirier at UFC 242 in Abu Dhabi earlier this week, Khabib Nurmagomedov was received by His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces; and Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, in two separate meetings.
Khabib met Sheikh Mohamed earlier this week. The Abu Dhabi Crown Prince shared a video of their meeting on his Instagram account. Sheikh Mohamed can be seen exchanging pleasantries with the UFC lightweight champion and his team.
In a separate post, Sheikh Hamdan also shared a picture of himself meeting the UFC champion. Sheikh Hamdan even got to lift Nurmagomedov's championship belt.
Khabib Nurmagomedov clinched the lightweight title and kept his unbeaten run intact with dominant victory over Dustin Poirier in the UFC 242 held in Abu Dhabi last week. The match, which was held in Yas Arena was where Khabib defended both his title and his undefeated streak against Dustin. Nurmagomedov won by submission.
