UAE leaders congratulate Musharraf
ABU DHABI — The President, His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, yesterday sent a congratulatory cable to President General Pervez Musharraf of Pakistan on his re-election for a second term. His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, also sent a similar cable to the Pakistani leader.

Meanwhile, the UAE leaders sent cables of greetings to Egyptian President Mohammed Hosni Mubarak on the anniversary of October Victory of Egyptian armed forces. Both leaders also greeted President Bashar Al Asad of Syria on the anniversary of October 6 War.
