The incident occurred early this month when the Sharjah Educational Zone received a complaint from Norah Ahmed, the principal of Al Shimaa Elementary School, and her assistant, Suzann Saleem, against the teacher, Norah Al Loughany, who apparently parked her car in the space allotted for the assistant. The teacher was accused of removing the signboard from the parking lot.
On being questioned by the Sharjah Educational Zone, the teacher denied removing the signboard and objected to the school’s policy of allotting parking spaces only to senior staff members. Eyewitnesses said that the teacher insulted Suzann and Al Loughany didn’t deny this.
