I have a five-year-old daughter whose hair is a cross between wavy and curly. The problem is that it gets very dry and frizzy the day after a wash and is difficult to maintain, even if it is tied up. What do you suggest to moisturise and control the frizz?

Mix two tablespoons of rich coconut cream with a tablespoon of honey. After shampooing, apply this mix to her hair, while still damp. Run a wide-toothed comb through her hair, and rinse with cold water after an hour or two. Avoid using hair dryers; drying it naturally with cool air works better. You may do this after every shampoo to help control the frizz.
I am a 10-year-old boy and I have rash-like bumps on my nose. They are not red in colour, but they hurt when I run my finger over them. Please suggest a home remedy, as both my siblings have them too.

Unfortunately, I cannot comment on what the bumps might be. You seem to be describing a skin infection that needs to come up to the surface. Make a paste of honey and cinnamon powder, apply it to the bumps and leave it on for an hour. Apply tea tree oil on the bumps at night and leave it on till the next day. Do both these treatments every day till the skin heals. If the condition persists, please see a dermatologist.
I am a 12-year-old and have many hair problems. I have a lot of dandruff, lice and big boils on my scalp; the latter hurt a lot during summer. My hair has lost its shine and looks like rope. Also, I got tanned over the past year and dislike my new complexion. Please help.

For a case like yours, I would suggest mixing two tablespoons of yoghurt with one teaspoon of glycerine, half a teaspoon of lime juice and a pinch of black pepper into a smooth paste and massaging it into the scalp as well as the hair. Shampoo your hair after an hour and repeat this three times a week for best results. For your tan, apply a mask of strawberry purée mixed with corn flour on the face. Rinse when dry.
I am a 17-year-old guy and I have dark circles around my eyes. Also, the skin on my face gets really dry during summer. Please suggest a remedy.

Dip cotton eye pads in creamy coconut milk and lay them on your eyes for 20 minutes everyday to lighten dark circles. You can apply this mix on your dry skin to nourish it as well.
I am 19 years old and suffer from acne as well as acne scars (black spots) on my back, chest, arms and face. I've tried everything, but to no avail. I'm really hoping to find an effective remedy from you. Please help me as I'm getting married next year and want to sort out these problems as soon as possible.

Mix one teaspoon of cinnamon powder with a teaspoon of honey and two drops of tea tree oil. Apply the mix on the acne and leave it on overnight. To lighten the marks, make a paste by mixing some tomato juice with corn flour. Apply this on the spots that require lightening and rinse with cold water.
