Sewa bills can be paid online

DUBAI - As part of Sharjah Electricity and Water Authority's ( Sewa) intensified efforts to improve customer services, a new system, that will enable consumers to enquire about and pay their bills through the authority's web site, will be launched soon, according to a Sewa official.

The official said: "Launching the new system is one of Sewa's commitments to achieve excellence in the quality of services offered to its clients."

The web site was introduced at the begining of May, with the maximum information.

According to records, the period between September 21,last year and February 25 this year, 340 million vistors had accessed to the site.

The site features crucial and valuable information for customers, such as procedures and documents required for taking water, electricity and natural gas connections at homes. Consumers can also enquire about the value of their bills.
