Being presented by T.K.T. International and organised by UAE Mobiles, the show will also feature actress Minisha Lamba and choreographer Ganesh Hegde.
The concert will be held at the Sharjah cricket stadium.
At a Press conference on Wednesday, Saif told reporters, 'Myself and Kareena are extremely happy to be here and promise a smashing performance for the UAE audience. This is also the first time that we'll be performing as a couple in the UAE and are really looking forward to Jashn 2008.'
Replying to a query on what the UAE audience should expect from the concert, Saif said, 'A lot of dances from some of my biggest hit numbers. I'll also be performing on guitar, and of course, Kareena will be dancing to her hit numbers.'
Commenting on the open air venue chosen for the event during this hot weather, the organisers of Jashn 2008 said they would be using 'Mistcool', a cool vapour-releasing machine that would reduce the temperature around the stage by 10 degrees.'
Talking on the subject, Kareena said, 'I have lived my entire life in Mumbai, and am used to high temperatures. I love performing, whatever the weather.'
The actors looked a bit upset with the local media when they asked questions pertaining to their personal lives.
However, Saif said they planned to get married in the near future.
'But at present we want to concentrate more on our careers,' he said.
The gates open at 5.30pm and the concert begins at 8pm.
Tickets are priced at Dh1,000, Dh500, Dh 300, Dh200, Dh100 and Dh 50. The tickets are available at the Sharjah cricket stadium and the sale of tickets will begin at 10am.
