RCA distributes meat in 60 countries
ABU DHABI - The Red Crescent Authority (RCA) has commenced distribution of the sacrificial meat in 60 countries in coordination with the UAE embassies abroad and the RCA offices to boost values of solidarity in the sisterly and friendly countries, especially the countries suffering from natural disasters and subsequent humanitarian repercussions.
Dr Saleh Mousa Al Tayie, Acting Deputy Secretary General for the Relief and Projects Affairs at the RCA, said the project aimed to provide help to the needy, besides being a religious sacrificial ritual during Eid Al Adha.
He noted that over 150, 000 people from 60 countries will benefit from project, whose initial budget is Dh5.5 million.
