At the Top, Burj Khalifa, the region's most-visited attraction by Emaar Properties, has teamed up with technology pioneers HTC Vive to showcase its newly enhanced Mission 828 virtual reality (VR) experience at Arabian Travel Market 2018 at the Dubai International Convention Centre.
Mission 828 offers visitors the real-life feel of scaling all 160 habitable levels of the iconic Burj Khalifa, a hard-knuckle climb to the top of the spire, and a parachute-jump right down to The Dubai Fountain.
Essentially, visitors get the feeling of what it is like to ascend and descend the tower in the most adventurous fashion.
Mission 828 has now been enhanced with the most powerful VR system yet, the HTC Vive Pro, and a low-frequency haptic feedback which induces vibrations and movements in-sync with the content.
Taking the thrilling four-minute journey to the next level, with these enhancements visitors will become part of highly realistic simulated environment complete with a motion-oriented platform that complements the wind effect - all in ultra-high resolution.
Visitors to Dubai Tourism's stand (ME110) at ATM 2018 can experience the enhanced Mission 828 journey from 10am to 5pm through April 25, before it heads to The Dubai Mall Fashion Avenue, where people can access it for only Dh35 per person.
Mission 828 can be regularly experienced through six VR pods at Level 125 and another at Level 124.
Apart from the regular ticket charge, Mission 828 can be experienced with an additional ticket of just Dh35 per person.

At 828 metres (2,716.5 ft), the 200-plus- storey Burj Khalifa has 160 habitable levels, the most of any building in the world.
