No ban for entry of work-visit visa holders: Saudi

The nationals are urged to use their passports, instead of using national ID.

After Saudi Arabia implemented a temporary ban on foreign Haj pilgrims from entering the country in the aftermath of coronavirus outbreak, the Kingdom clarified that work visit visa holders will not be affected. 
Although there have been no cases yet of the Covid-19 in Saudi Arabia, the government imposed travel ban after coronavirus outbreak. According to Saudi Gazette, travellers holding employment visa, work visit visa, business visit visa and family visit visa are exempted from travel restrictions imposed on Thursday.
Following the travel restrictions, all Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) nationals are required to use their passports to travel to and from Saudi Arabia, instead of using national ID. However, GCC nationals who traveled to or from Saudi Arabia using their national ID before the travel restrictions were imposed, will be allowed to return to their home country using national ID.
While the Directorate General of Passports (Jawazat) stated that multiple reentry visit visa holders can reenter the country provided they have not travelled to affected countries in the past two weeks.
