New pvt hospital in capital

ABU DHABI — A new private hospital has started functioning in the capital here.

Lifeline Hospital, the state-of-the-art hospital set up with an investment of Dh80 million, aims at providing affordable medicare to people, Dr Shamsheer, managing director of the hospital, said.

The centrally located hospital has 21 departments, with a team of 24 specialists.

The hospital has also opened various consulting clinics, including cardiology, chest medicine, neonatology, nephrology, psychiatry, radiology, rheumatology, gynaecology & obstetrics, paediatrics, psychiatry, orthopedics, physical & rehabilitative medicine, ENT, dental, general medicine and urology among others.

"At present the hospital has 50 beds which can be increased as and when required," said Dr Shamsheer.

The hospital has also signed up with a number of insurance companies to give affordable services to the patients.
