Two years from now, the world's attention will be focused on Dubai, as the city plays host to Expo 2020. Expo 2020 Dubai, the first World Expo to be held in the Middle East, Africa and South Asia (MEASA) region, will run from October 20, 2020, to April 10, 2021.

Construction sector added 1.92 per cent workforce to 1.703 million while real estate firms hired 5.4 per cent additional employees reaching 0.604 million workers. These two sectors are witnessing increased hiring as public and private sector firms look to complete projects ahead of Expo 2020 Dubai.
