Motorists in for a ‘sweet’ surprise
DUBAI — The security awareness teams of Dubai Police distributed greeting cards, brochures and sweets among motorists coming to Dubai on Eid Al Adha days, as per the instructions of Lt. Gen. Dhahi Khalfan Tamim, Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Police.
Brochures were also provided to motorists who had committed minor traffic offences.
Brigadier Mohammed Saif Al Zafin, director of the General Department of Traffic, said it was the Dubai Police tradition to share celebrations with the public on various occasions.
Al Zafin said that Dubai Police had distributed 15,000 greeting cards to motorists in Bur Dubai, Deira and Global Village. The cards have information on traffic rules.
