Member Dr Hussein Al Mutawa raised the issue while he directed a question to Dr Al Abdul Aziz Al Sharhan, Minister of Education and Youth, on the actions taken by the ministry to contain the misbehaviour of some schoolchildren.
Dr Sharhan assured the House that the problem has not turned into a major one and that his ministry is seriously considering the matter.
"Due to the vitality of this issue, the ministry has included it in its ambitious ‘2020 educational vision', whereby comprehensive social, cultural and psychological programmes, have been prepared to instill good behaviour in schoolchildren," said Dr Sharhan.
The FNC also listened to the comment of Shaikh Fahim bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Minister of Economic and Commerce on ministry's readiness to amend business laws, so as to cope with developing technology.
Shaikh Fahim told the House the ministry will set up a specialised committee to deal with business rules and regulations.
He added that his ministry has also prepared a study to evaluate the e-commerce in the AGCC countries.
In its Tuesday's session, the House also reviewed the federal decree No 21 of 2003 on cooperation between the UAE and Yemen in the field of health.
