Sharjah Police is investigating the death of a 29-year-old Indian whose body was found hanging from a ceiling fan in an apartment in Al Nabaah area in Sharjah.
Police said they received information about the incident on early on Wednesday morning. A team comprising officers from forensics, crime scene, patrol and ambulance rushed to the site and found the man hanging from the ceiling.
The police collected evidences and fingerprints from the site. The body has been shifted to a forensic laboratory to determine the cause of death.
According to initial investigation, police say the deceased decided to end his life, but said they can't confirm the cause of the death until they are done with the investigation and interrogation with his friend's relatives and roommates.
