"The Adventure Surprises week consists of a number of events that satisfy the need for adventure amongst the young. The events challenges the physical strength of the children, gives them a chance to take risks and enhance their self confidence," says Reem Al Abbar.

She continued: "The Jungle Maze Adventure is considered a very attractive jungle trip that children can take. We tried to replicate the excitement of being in a real jungle by designing the venue with real bushes and trees and bringing in a great deal of fun with costumed animals.

"With just one trip to the Maze, children can learn to think on their feet, and overcome hidden dangers. The safety and the fun aspect of this Maze appeals to parents as well."

The decor of the venue has been enhanced by including real trees.

Saudi residents, Abdullah Saleh, 9, and his sister Razan, 8, had a wonderful time at the Maze.

Abdullah said: "We were very reluctant about participating in the event, but once we entered the Maze we had a wonderful time. Honestly, we were really scared at some point. The tiger and the bear were particularly scary as these animals were chasing us, and the sound of the animals was scary too. However, I will come back to the Jungle Maze again as I know that these are not really animals but only people inside the costumes."

Fatima Aseel and Nancy Khalifa from Lebanon said: "In the beginning, I was really scared, but Aseel convinced me to enter the Maze. I really felt I was in the real jungle." Nancy said, "I was a little bit scared in the beginning, but afterwards, I started laughing. It was great fun. We really enjoyed ourselves in the Maze."
