Islamic lectures

DUBAI — A series of lectures by prominent scholars was organised at the Dubai Airport Expo as part of the First Quran Forum which was being held under the patronage of Dubai International Holy Quran Award (Dihqa).

Al Siddique Centre for Quran Memorisation and Legal Science organised several lectures as part of the forum at Dubai Airport Exhibition Centre.

The lectures were attended by a large number of women and men and scholars from various Islamic institutions and centres in the country.

A lecture on Hijab was delivered by Dr Ibrahim Draweesh, who shed light on the importance of wearing hijab. He delivered another lecture on Heaven to educate the youngesters about the need to adhere to Islamic teachings.

At the end of the programme, Abdul Rahman Al Darweesh, Director of Al Siddique Centre, distributed prizes to the winners of Quran Raffle.
