A 55-year-old Indian died after suffering a severe chest pain at the Abu Dhabi airport on Monday.
Philip George and family were was set to catch the Jet Airways flight to Bengaluru when he felt a severe chest pain and collapsed at the immigration counter. He was immediately rushed to the Al Mafraq Hospital but didn't survive.
The native of Pathanamthitta district in Kerala was flying to Bengaluru in connection with his daughter's law school admission in Mysuru, Karnataka. He had felt a pain soon after leaving his flat in Abu Dhabi and it aggravated at the immigration counter.
The medical staff at the airport soon rushed him to hospital, his relatives said. His body will be transported to Kerala on completion of needed paperwork, they added. George works for a Dubai-based trading company and is survived by wife and two children.
