Dubai Police have repeatedly stressed the importance of residents fully complying with directives issued by authorities to safeguard public health.
The Dubai Police also called on the entire community to be aware and responsible when using social media and warned of the dangers of violating instructions and circulating rumours without understanding the consequences of such actions, which cause fear, panic and discomfort, stressing the importance of maintaining safety and security.
Follow instructions from authorities such as wear masks, social distancing etc to combat the Covid-19 pandemic, the police said.

Responding to the 'Stay Home' campaign the government, a majority of UAE residents have also begun to work from home to reduce the risk of spreading Covid-19.
Restaurants will not be allowed to receive customers. Instead, their services will be limited to home deliveries only.
Earlier this week, the UAE announced that all commercial centres and shopping malls along with fish, meat and vegetables markets will be closed for a renewable period of two weeks.
