Among the special features of this year's fireworks display are the use of pyro-drones, which will create a spectacular display - starting with the countdown to the New Year and going on to recreating the key monuments in the emirate through laser displays and pyrotechnics.
Over 27,000 parking spaces have been made available to those who wish to see the fireworks.

These parking spaces are divided into four areas.
Traffic from Al Ittihad Road (E11) will be directed to car park 3.
Traffic from Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Road (E311) will use exit 119, and be directed to car parks 2 and 4.
Traffic from Emirates Road (E611) should use Al Shohadaa Road, and will be directed to car parks 2 and 4.
Traffic from Ras Al Khaimah to the event should take Sheikh Mohamed bin Salem Road and will be directed to car park 1 and 2.
Traffic to Al Marjan Island will be closed at 11am.
From 9pm, all traffic from Al Shohadaa Road will be directed to car park 4.
Traffic from Al Ittihad Road to the event will be closed at 11pm.
Traffic from Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Road using exit 119, traffic from Emirates Road using Al Shohadaa Road, and traffic from Ras Al Khaimah using Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Road, will be closed at 11am.
Walk to the viewing areas after parking your cars and enjoy the fireworks.
