Govt, private bodies honoured

DUBAI — A special ceremony was organised by the Department of Civil Aviation (DCA) to honour the companies and individuals who helped them during the Haj season.

The ceremony was attended by officials from Civil Aviation, Dubai Police, Naturalisation and Residency Department, Dubai Customs as well as private companies.

Speaking on the occasion, Nasir Khajour, Chairman, Haj Committee, DCA, said: “We would like to take this opportunity to thank all our partners and honour those individuals and companies which have made a difference in the Haj season. On behalf of the DCA, I would like to add that we take the utmost care to provide our customers the best service possible during the Haj season.”

Over 40 government and private bodies were honoured at the special ceremony organised at the Al Bustan Rotana Hotel in Dubai. Nearly 150 individuals attended the ceremony. Jamal Al Hay, Director of Strategy Department, DCA was also present at the occasion.
