8 gifted UAE children attempted to solve 8 complicated Math equations in less than 8 minutes.
Global Village witnessed a unique world record breaking attempt on Sunday 25th Jan, whereby 8 talented UAE children, all from the Emirates Talent Association, aged between 8 and 13, attempted to solve 8 complicated Math equations in less than 8 minutes, with the aim of engraving their names in the famous Guinness Book of World Records.
The attempt was witnessed by HE Lieutenant General Dhahi Khalfan Tamim, Chief of Dubai police, Chairman of the Emirates Talents Association, and Abdul Redha Ali bin Redha, Project Director of Global Village, in addition to local and regional Media.
Each child had to solve the equation in less than one minute, resulting in a 3 digit figure that subsequently was entered in a lock. The 8 locks when opened with the right answers revealed the UAE flag.
The officials in Guinness have been informed of the details of the event and are currently considering giving it an official Guinness world record recognition. HE Bin khalfan and Bin Redha handed out merit certificates for all the participants for their efforts.
HE Bin Khalfan also toured the Global Village pavilions with Bin Redha, stopping at Dubai Police punitive and correctional establishment, where he hailed the pavilion and its social productive output towards the UAE society.
At the end of the visit, Mr. Bin Redha awarded HE with a memento to honor his visit to the Global village and his invaluable efforts in conserving the security all over the city of Dubai.
