In the first accident around 10am, three nationals, including two women, died on the spot when their car rammed into a heavy vehicle that had suddenly emerged onto the road from a side entrance without the driver ensuring safety. The truck driver, who escaped unhurt, was taken into custody by Al Dhaid police. In the second accident at the same place, when a 27-year-old Pakistani truck driver tried to take a turn without ensuring that the road was clear and crashed into a car driven by 23-year-old UAE national, who died on the spot. In this case, too, the truck driver was not injured and was taken into custody.
