The Dubai Police have launched an annual award to recognise institutions that excel in customer service.
The Dubai Police International Call Centre Award (DPICCA) was launched during a Press conference on Saturday by Brigadier Kamil Batti, director of operations room at the Dubai Police. It intends to enhance customer service standards in the country and bring a wave of happiness among UAE residents, as per the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.
"The award is a partnership between the Future Acceleration Centre and the Dubai Police operations department to innovate customer service practices in the country," said Brig Batti. "Reducing response time, use of artificial intelligence, enhanced services for people with determination and adoption of international practices are some of the ways to upgrade customer service in the region. The recognition will be given to the best customer service organisation in both government and private sectors. Best managers and employees will also be lauded."
Registrations for the DPICCA will be on from June until September. Evaluation and the shortlisting of participants will take place in October and the final winners will be honoured during a ceremony in November. "The Dubai Police will receive applications, review them and the winners will be recognised after approval from an international arbitration team.
