DUBAI — The excitement, action and celebrity buzz associated with the Dubai International Film Festival (DIFF) is now at everyone’s fingertips.
Film Enthusiasts and fans can now access anytime the details of their favourite films and artistes via mobile phone with the expanded, free DIFF Mobile Application.
Organised in partnership with Nokia, the DIFF Mobile Application supports the Symbian and Blackberry platforms as well as the iPhone/iPad and Android operating systems. This means practically every mobile phone user can benefit from the application. Mobile phone users can now receive updates on DIFF, check for film screenings and purchase tickets — all on the go, and in total security.
Mobile phone users only have to log on to www.dubaifilmfest.com from their mobile device, click on ‘Download Application,’ fill in the required details and select the correct version for their mobile to start receiving DIFF updates. Nokia users can also download the application from the Ovi app store.
Subscribers can also access the DIFF Mobile Application through their telecom portal or applications stores, or receive links to download the application via SMS. In line with DIFF’s commitment to uphold user privacy, mobile phone users can also opt out of the service at any point in time.
