After India lost to England on Sunday, MS Dhoni and Kedar Jadhav's partnership has came under scanner.
The Indian team suffered their first defeat in the 2019 World Cup at the hands of England in Birmingham on Sunday.
India was chasing 338 and required 71 runs from the last five overs. In the final 30 crucial balls, the duo managed to score 20 singles, three fours and a six.
The crowd started booing the partnerships as they failed to go for big hits.
At the post-match presentation ceremony, Indian captain Virat Kohli said, "It's up to the discussions with the two guys in there. 'MS was trying really hard to get the boundaries. It wasn't easy because they were bowling really well. 'When the run-rate got to 14-15 it became tough. We will sit down and assess and try to improve in the next game."
Kedar Jadhav and Dhoni drew flack for 'lack of intent' and here's what the experts and Twitter has to say:
Disappointing finish. A run-a-ball partnership can't win games. Was exciting till Pandya was in.

If there was any team that had the ability to stop India's winning run. It was England. Dhoni's approach in the last few overs however was baffling. ??

Somewhere between,"Dhoni maar raha hai to Dhoni ball kha raha hai" we all grew up #Dhoni #INDvENG
