Dh7.2m given to Iraqi orphans
ABU DHABI — A delegation of the UAE Red Crescent Authority which visited Iraq recently handed over Dh7,168,664 as financial relief to 6,084 orphans in some cities in Kurdistan province. Those orphans are being sponsored by the RCA with the support of generous donors in the UAE.
Saleh Mohamad Al Muala, deputy secretary general of the RCA, underlined the importance of understanding the condition of Iraqi orphans owing to the exceptional situation in that country.
