Cars, bikes and robotic wonders. All boys and men who are boys at heart can enjoy the coolest gadgets and tech innovations at this year's Big Boys Toys event.
The four-day Big Boys Toys roared to life at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre as Minister of Culture and Knowledge Development Shaikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan threw open the doors of the Middle East's largest luxury, innovations and technology jamboree.
Visitors will be spoil for choice and swooned by what's on offer. The event organised by Artaaj Events has many of world-firsts.
For one, this year's Big Boys Toys is three times larger than the 2015 edition, with 200 products spanning the range from gadgets and automobiles and even cool fashion accessories.
So what macho-tuned ride or tech thrills are you likely to come up against this time? For starters, there's the world's fastest street legal production bike, and one of the most powerful cars boasting fighter jet technology.
Gaze in awe at the Transformers come alive - an amazing robot car that morphs from cool ride to giant Antimon, leader of the Letrons in just 60 seconds, again a world-first invention. If you actually prefer trying your hand at something, there's a Super Car Test Drive Pit that offers a chance to steer some of the most powerful cars in the world. For the imagination seekers, there's plenty of virtual reality, simulators and digital experiences. No tech stage is complete without a millennial 3D-printed wonder, and Big Boys Toys fulfills the criteria with eye-popping stuff like titanium 3D-printed violins.
And it wasn't just about the boys. The 'Woman's World' part of the exhibition showcased products and services for the ladies, including travel, jewellery, beauty, lifestyle and wellness stuff.
Go get your fill this weekend.
