The event also honoured renowned Kuwaiti actor Saad Al Faraj for his significant work in the film industry; as well as popular actors and actresses from the hit TV series Sawalef Tafash.
The move is part of Bahrain's ongoing programme of enhancing and modernising its education system, and the ministry will be working with international partners, including UNESCO and leading foreign educational institutions.
