The Ras Al Khaimah civic authority has ordered the closure of the grocery for violating the rules. The municipality has done well and its action is really appreciated, but the matter should be referred to the Public Prosecution for taking legal action against the unscrupulous people who sell death and endanger public lives.

The matter needs stricter punishment, especially in such cases. The matter should not be treated as just a fraud in consumer items or foodstuff, but should be seriously dealt with, since it affects public hygiene and endangers consumers’ lives. It is not mere cheating, but a kind of crime.
