Watch: Dubai Police foil trio's prison break attempt

The dramatic attempt was captured on CCTV cameras around the station.

Three African fugitives were arrested by Dubai Police after they attempted to escape from custody. The Dubai Police succeeded in apprehending the escapees who were involved in theft cases. The three suspects staged their escape attempt as they alighted from a police patrol on the entry to Naif Police Station.

Maj. Gen. Khalil Ibrahim Al Mansouri, Assistant Commander in Chief for Criminal Investigation at Dubai Police, said that the police have arrested one of the fugitives, during the escape, while the  other two have hid in unknown  locations. Because of this the police conducted an intense search and have successfully arrested the two other fugitives on Thursday evening. Al Mansouri said that he found the suspects in the jurisdiction of the Naif Police Station area.
The station is already investigating on the incident and the causes, as well as the suspects' involvement in a number of thefts. The escape attempt was caught on video and has since become viral.
