While expressing solidarity and support to the victims of terrorism and extremism, EHRA reiterates condemning and decrying all forms of terrorism, racism and hatred calls:
1. Civil society and local human rights organizations in the Arab Gulf Region to chart out a local and regional awareness and education strategy to combat the message of extremism, hatred and racism, and work to enlighten and educate the youth to protect and immune them against the dangers of the terrorist groups which target them.
2. Official and private media institutions should bear their responsibility in confronting the scourge of terrorism and hatred by adopting a permanent media strategy, and not a temporarily timing one and based on over-reaction, in identifying the radical thought and how to confront it.
3. The international community should unify its perspective and legislative philosophy and work on criminalizing all the terrorist acts and all forms of bigotry, racial discrimination and incitement of hatred as is the case of UAE experience in work on combating the menace.
