Preparations for the Mother of the Nation Festival are in their final stages, the Abu Dhabi Tourism and Culture Authority (TCA Abu Dhabi), announced on Thursday.
The festival will open its doors from 4pm until midnight on Sunday, March 26 and run daily until April 4, at the Abu Dhabi Corniche.
The progress of construction can be seen by pedestrians walking along the Corniche promenade. Individuals and families are gearing up to once again celebrate the one-of-a-kind Festival, starting next week.
The festival will offer four diverse activity zones alongside the Mother of the Nation Pavilion. The festival grounds are in their final stage of construction, in accordance with the established schedule.
Sultan Al Dhaheri, Acting Executive Director of Tourism at TCA Abu Dhabi said: "We are delighted to be organising the second edition of Mother of the Nation Festival, which is the most significant event in our community reflecting the far-reaching values of Fatima bint Mubarak." The Mother of the Nation Festival is held over 10 days, with a rich line-up of engaging activities for visitors of all ages.
In its second edition, the festival features more than 100 entertaining activites, in addition to 35 musical shows and performances throughout its diverse activity zones.
The festival also offers over 50 food and beverage options, inviting visitors to experience a wide variety of local and international cuisines, as well as art exhibitions, performances and live music.
Tickets can be purchased - at the festival entrance or on Ticketmaster - for Dh20 per adult, while children aged 5 and under are admitted for free.
