Man rapes minor girl, posts video on Facebook

He was detained after the video was shared online

In yet another disturbing incident, a 26-year-old labourer from Mumbai raped a minor girl in a Badlapur forest and posted the act on Facebook. 
According to the story in the Hindustan Times, the accused knew the 17-year-old girl and asked her to accompany him for a trip.  
A police officer from Hill line police station told Hindustan Times that the accused took the minor to a forest in Badlapur and raped her. He went on to shoot the incident and uploaded it on Facebook. The police have sought help from cyber crime cell officials to avoid the video from being circulated. 
Sadly, This isn't the first incident of a crime being recorded and shared on the social media platform Facebook. Early this year, a 14-year-old was arrested over alleged rape on Facebook Live in Chicago. 
Prior to that, a gang rape was streamed live in Sweden on Facebook in January. Three young men suspected of gang-raping and live-streaming the attack had been detained, police said.
