WHAT DO YOU call a man in paper trousers? Russel. Right, now that our poor attempt at humour is out of the way, let's go over to the professionals, Aisi Taisi Democracy stars - stand-up comedian and social-satirist Sanjay Rajoura, stand-up comedian, writer and lyricist Varun Grover and bass player and vocalist Rahul Ram.
In their own words this is what their show is about: "India is a nation of idiosyncrasies and permanent hysteria. Our reaction to a cricket god retiring is more vocal than the science community's was when they discovered the god particle. In this crazy transition phase, from third world to second, we are the proverbial gawaachi gaay (lost cow) of the times."
The show will take place at DUCTAC, Mall of the Emirates on April 22 at 8pm. Check the theatre's website for tickets.
