Noor Bank is participating at the annual Careers UAE, the ultimate recruitment event for UAE nationals, as part of its strategic objective to bring on board talented Emiratis for key positions.  
The event that got underway today (April 9, 2017)  at Dubai World Trade Centre, is held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, and will run until April 11. Careers UAE 2017 aims to provide UAE nationals with the opportunity to meet with leading employers in the market.
Noor Bank personnel are on hand at the bank's stand - 7A-5, to conduct on-the-spot interviews and discuss the bank's strategy, mission and core values with candidates seeking to pursue a career in banking, particularly those interested in contributing to Dubai's goal of becoming the capital of Islamic economy.
Hussain Al Qemzi, Managing Director and CEO of Noor Bank, said: "Year after year, Careers UAE offers a highly beneficial platform for employers to meet with some of the strongest candidates from the fresh crop of homegrown talent. The recent approval of a new point-based Emiratisation system in the financial sector by the UAE government is a significant development that will ensure continuous progress of UAE nationals throughout their careers."
He added: "Noor Bank's participation at the recruitment event has been a crucial component in achieving its Emiratisation objectives. This year, we look forward to meeting valuable candidates and helping them build their knowledge and skills so that together, we can make a meaningful contribution to this vital industry."
Hind Al Attar, Head of Human Resources at Noor Bank, said: "Noor Bank places an emphasis on providing the right guidance and training for the country's next generation to emerge as leaders not just for the bank but for the overall benefit of the UAE economy. We have launched a management associate programme ('Imtiaz') in association with the Emirates Institute for Banking and Financial Studies (EIBFS), and recruited promising talented Emiratis in core banking roles within various departments. We look forward to building on this success at Careers UAE 2017."
Careers UAE is open exclusively to UAE nationals and HR practitioners. This year, the event features more than 160 UAE-based companies from a variety of sectors and is expected to attract around 18,000 visitors.
