Islamabad — In a significant development, the Qaumi Watan Party (QWP) on Sunday announced it was joining the provincial government led by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI).
Party chairman Aftab Sherpao made the announcement at a news conference in Peshawar.
Sherpao said the decision by his party is subject to certain conditions agreed by KP Chief Minister Pervez Khattak. On top is the condition that PTI chairman Imran Khan will not directly interfere in the internal affairs of the government.
