RABAT -- The Islamic Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation, ISESCO, has offered its heartfelt condolences to the families of those who died during the ongoing heat wave in Karachi.
The heat wave has so far claimed the lives of 1,200 people, prompting the declaration of state of emergency in Pakistan.
Dr Abdulaziz Othman Altwaijri, Director-General of ISESCO said, "We share with the families of the deceased and the entire people of Pakistan our feelings of grief and sorrow. May almighty Allah rest their souls in eternal peace during this holy month of Ramadan."
