Oman's first budget airline, SalamAir, is likely to be operational soon with fare as low as OMR 15.
According to the Times of Oman, the sale of the tickets for the airline shall commence shortly.
"The aircraft is being inspected by the authorities as we speak and we're working on changing the seats to leather. Ticket sales coming soon," the airline announced on Twitter on Tuesday.
It also said: "We're on our path to be ready to be flying with you, we'll need a few weeks to finalize the remainder of the requirements."
The fare of the airline is likely to start from OMR 15, depending on when the tickets are booked.
The airline also plans to connect to Dubai and Jeddah while connecting Muscat to Salalah with four flights daily.
SalamAir's fleet of three Airbus A320s is scheduled to take to the skies soon.
