Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has that criminals and hypocrites would be eliminated from the country very soon as the Pakistan army was playing an exemplary role in breaking the back of terrorists.
He expressed satisfaction with the punishment handed down by the military courts to the perpetrators of Army Public School attack in Peshawar last year, and killing innocent students.
In a statement on the sentences handed over to terrorists by a military court, the prime minister termed the killers beasts and said that the innocent souls could not return to their parents but the sentences to the offenders had provided realisation to each one, including the bereaved parents, that such criminals and hypocrisy would be eliminated from the country soon.
The prime minister lauded the role of parliament, the Supreme Court and military courts in this regard and said that they had played their role befittingly as all the political parties cooperated with the government for the establishment of military courts by putting their differences aside. "It has become the source of awarding due punishment to the criminals and it would further help in eradicating terrorism."
Nawaz Sharif maintained that the decision to set up military courts was a difficult one but it was taken for the sake of a bright future of the nation.
The problems being faced by the country could be resolved through mutual cooperation of all the institutions by upholding the democratic values.
The armed forces were playing an exemplary role in breaking the back of terrorists and anti-state elements, the prime minister said.
